The 2007 Wasdale Head Show was held on 13 October 2007
Well despite a cold, wet and coudy morning the Wasdale Head Show went ahead, and was very well attended.
We will post the results and official photos here as soon as we have them , unitil then here are a few pictures from the day to keep you going !

THERE were two things everyone was talking about at this year's Wasdale Show: the weather and the standard of the sheep entries.
The Wasdale Head backdrop was all the more beautiful basking in such glorious sunshine on Saturday making it seem more like mid-summer than mid-October.
And there was a buzz about the traditional Shepherds' Meet and Show this year due to the high quality and number of exhibits.
Sheep judge Joe Richardson, of Lamplugh, said he had really enjoyed the show. "There was a good show of Herdwicks today, the best there's been for a while," he said.
And winner of the trophy for the Overall Champion, Andrew Race, said the show of sheep had been of a higher standard than last year. Mr Race, of Burnthwaite Farm, Wasdale Head, also scooped the cup for Champion Male, which he won last year.
Champion Female trophy went to Heather Naylor-Lopez and her husband Andrew Lopez, of Row Head, Wasdale Head, they were also helped by Heather's brother Alan.
"There has been a very good standard this year, a lot more people seem to have got interested again in showing sheep," said Heather.
Andrew added: "I think people are getting back into the swing after the foot and mouth."
There were plenty of other attractions to keep the crowds entertained, from terrier racing, sheep shearing and goat-milking demonstrations to hound trails, fell racing, children's races and stalls.
As always, Glen Tubman took to the microphone and ensured everyone had a smile on their faces with his dry wit.
Octogenarian David Smith, the show's secretary of more than 30 years, said the weather had played an important part in the good turn-out.
Once again Millom's John Williamson stole the show for best in show in the stick classes. His plain horn shepherd's crook was judged to be the best. He also took the title last year.
“There was an old huntsman who encouraged me to start making them and then one or two farmers asked me and it went from there. I still make them now but not as many,” he said.
“I enjoy coming here and having a crack, you meet a lot of people from all over the place.”
Egremont folk were victorious in the vintage classes with Robert Jobson, of Daleview Gardens, taking the Best on Field trophy for cars and motorcycles with his Moto Guzzi 250 and Alan Williams, of Gillfoot Avenue, taking the Best on Field trophy for tractors and stationary engines with his 1938 Lister.
